This spacious beachfront condo is a 2 bedroom/2 bath corner unit on the 2nd floor of the 10th (southside) building. The additional large window on the south side provides extra light and views of tropical greenery. Ocean views from the living area and master bedroom are breathtaking. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. King bed in master & twins in 2nd bedroom allows for 4 guests. In-unit Washer /Dryer! There is central A/C. This condo is cool looking and feeling with tile flooring throughout. Prep meals in the full kitchen and enjoy watching the outriggers launch. Or use the property’s gas grills and chat it up with fellow guests; locals call that talking story, a simple aloha kind of thing that enhances every vacation. Flat-screen TVs with complimentary cable, WiFi, local phone; central AC, and ceiling fans. The in-unit washer/dryer is super convenient as is the free parking for 1 vehicle per unit. The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet and safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key locals that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme resort. Centrally located in North Kihei, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads – one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are longer treks to places remote, but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3 mile stretch of white-sand shoreline north to Ma’alaea. The resort’s 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach or claim a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. From the grounds & pool you have panoramic, and majestic coastline views that extend south to the Makena cinder cone, sweep out across the water past Molokini Crater, neighbor islands Kahoolawe, Lanai and north to Maalaea Bay with its backdrop of stark white windmills marching up the sharp ridges of the West Maui Mountains. During high season (Dec-April) humpback whales (mamas, babies, and guardian males) find shelter in Maalaea Bay; the sight of them breaching is always thrilling. All year round you will savor spectacular sunrises and sunsets by day, and star-studded skies and silvery moonbeams glittering on the Pacific by night. It’s fun that Kihei Canoe Club is next door to the resort. Watching the canoes during practices or races is a cool diversion few resorts can offer. On Tuesdays & Thursdays the club offers visitors an opportunity to paddle out with them ($40 donation) so worth it! Across the street is a quaint collection of local treasures: a farmer’s market featuring local fruits & veggies, Ululani’s Shave Ice Store, Sugar Beach Bake Shop & an ABC convenience store. You will find yourself there more often than you think, it’s one of those spots! And just down the road a bit toward Kihei, you will notice a most charming church painted ‘plantation green’ with white trim & exuding the Aloha spirit. Keolahou Hawaiian Congregational Church holds services in English & Hawaiian on Sunday mornings – open to all. By the way, this condo is professionally managed by Destination Maui Vacations, an on-island management company with more than 40 years of history on the island. KIHEI BEACH RESORT RENTAL AGREEMENT
A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.
As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur.
If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible misunderstandings.
Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.
You are not obligated to re‐stock the unit with any used items from your starter kit.
Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths.
For condos without in‐unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities on the 3rd and 5th floors to wash these items as needed.
All payments are non‐refundable.
To confirm your stay, a non‐refundable deposit of $200, and an additional $39.99 of damage insurance are due upon booking. These will act as your cancellation fee should you cancel your visit.
Your remaining balance is due 60 days (two months) prior to your arrival date.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through Generali. If you are interested, please enquire with us before your final payment is due.
All units at the Kihei Beach Resort are Non‐Smoking. A designated smoking area is located on the north end of the building.
Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the
minimum of which is $400.
Front Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Monday – Saturday.
Check‐In time is after 3:00 PM, but before 4:30 PM (the end of office hours)
Check‐Out time is before 11:00 AM.
Early Check‐Ins and late Check‐Outs are based on availability. Please contact Kihei Beach Resort in advance, so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
