Maybe wanting a central location for easy commutes to all things Maui? Well, Makani A Kai #A-6 fits that bill perfectly. This condo is ground-floor and truly just a few steps across the lawn to the white sand beach. This condo has modern split level A/C units in both of the master bedroom and the living-room. The shoji-door divides the living-room and guest bedroom that the split level modern A/C can cool the area when the room dividing door is open. It has been updated with quality finishes and furnishings: for the kitchen think tile, granite, new cabinets and stainless steel; for the bathrooms it’s about new vanities, granite, marble tiling, and walk-in showers. Both bedrooms (king and queen beds) have a serene feel; the front one is closed off from the living room with shoji sliding doors. The unit has room for four guests. For your comfort there’s a split AC unit, cable TV, high speed internet, free WIFI and parking. And on-site laundry facilities. | | Step off your lanai and make easy use of the pool and BBQ/picnic areas (both beach front). It would be a shame to come all the way to Maui and spend the whole-time off site, not when you can laze on a lounge chair with a beach read, occasionally glancing up to check what’s happening out in the bay. It’s always beautiful, interesting, and in the winter, when the whales return, it can be extraordinarily exciting! This place has panoramic views and then some! | | A few steps to the east is the beginning of Sugar Beach, a 2.5-mile stretch of undeveloped land and white sand, leading you all the way to North Kihei. Beachcombing, nesting turtles, uninterrupted ocean views, surfers, paddlers, outrigger canoes, these are all features of this special place. To the west, it is a 15- minute walk (or very short drive) to shops, restaurants, the harbor with its boat excursions, the Maui Aquarium, and more. The central location of Makani A Kai puts you within easy commute times to the sights, adventures, attractions, and world-class venues of west, north and south Maui. 1 vehicle per unit Free Parking. MA’ALAEA BAY RENTALS RENTAL AGREEMENT
Booking Rules:
A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.
As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur.
If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible liability.
Supplies:
Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.
Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths.
For condos without in‐unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities located at your particular resort.
Deposits/Cancellations
To confirm your stay, a non‐refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1. $39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2. $3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7‐10 business days after departure)
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Cancellations made after initial deposit require a $200 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through Generali. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.
Deposits/Cancellations (Holiday Season: 12/15 – 01/05)
Reservations that arrive during our Holiday Season (12/15 ‐ 01/05) require a $500 deposit, and
Final payment is due within the first week of October.
Cancellations for Holiday Season reservations made before final payment require a $500 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after final payment are non‐refundable.
We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection. If you are interested, please inquire with us before your final payment is due.
Smoking:
All units are Non‐Smoking.
Designated smoking areas are available on all properties.
Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $400.
Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday – Friday.
Check In/Out:
Check‐In time is after 3:00 PM.
Check‐Out time is before 11:00 AM.
Late check‐outs are only available at the cost of a full night’s stay and must be arranged at the time of booking. Please contact Maalaea Bay Rentals at 1‐800‐367‐6084 or 808‐244‐5627 in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
