A highly desirable and rare end-unit facing the ocean, this one bedroom, two bath, single-level, one story townhome rental features an enlarged and expanded living room and bedroom resulting in additional square footage in both the living areas and the bedroom.
With a southern exposure, it is very light; bright; and sunny throughout the beautiful Maui days. There is a peek/partial view of the surfing beach; the ocean; and the Southern tip of Lanai from the entry lanai and the rear lanai. Not a panoramic view but it’s just so very nice to see the ocean and the island of Lanai.
Located just 90 steps from Puamana’s seasonally sandy beach and ocean access for surfing; boogie boarding; swimming; relaxing on the beach; or just relaxing on the expansive grass area overlooking the surf and the neighbor island views. Awesome sunset viewing here! We try never to miss one when we are lucky enough to be on Maui!
Puamana usually has a wonderful, sandy beach, big surf and storms can borrow our sand overnight and leave us without any beach and with a rocky ocean entry. Sometimes the sand comes back within days and sometimes it takes quite a bit longer. It’s impossible to predict.
Puamana Beach Park, a public park with showers and a sandy beach entry at most times of the year is immediately south of Puamana. Waves here tend to be a bit smaller and gentler than at “Hot Sands”/Puamana beach. This is generally a good place to launch SUP’s or kayaks and is also a surfing beach. There is a private, gated access directly connecting Puamana to Puamana Beach Park at the South end of our property.
We are a short walk to the amazing "quiet" ocean pool; the gazebo; the tennis court; and the clubhouse or an even shorter walk to the Dolphin pool.
Our unit was completely remodeled in late 2015 and features an all new kitchen with granite counter tops; all new appliances; all new custom cabinets; and all new fixtures. Both bathrooms were completely redone with dual vanities in the master bathroom and a spacious, tiled shower. The second bath has a tiled shower/tub combo. Each has granite counter tops and all new fixtures. Wood floors throughout with new tile flooring in each bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for an enjoyable vacation: blender; microwave; coffee maker; and dishwasher.
There is an ironing board and iron–you won’t be using that!–42′ flat screen TV in the living room; DVD player; 32′ flat screen TV in the bedroom with a basic cable package; Free wireless internet; telephone answering machine; free local phone service; air conditioning in the living room and the bedroom; ceiling fans throughout the home; bed linens; towels; a new washer and dryer; and a propane gas BBQ grill. Two high-back beach chairs are waiting for you.
The sunny and open rear lanai has easy access for your bicycles; beach gear; card-playing; relaxing; having pu-pu’s; BBQing; and features the same peek view of the ocean and the island of Lanai.
The exterior photos show a second story addition that is not part of the rental and is never occupied when the unit is rented.
The beach at Puamana is seasonal.
Parking tandem is approved for this home. Renter vehicles will park directly behind the car in this stall.

Maid Service: Homes; see webpage for checkout cleaning fee, most Puamana townhomes include a checkout cleaning with minimum 5 night stay. C ondos: The checkout cleaning (minimum 5 nights stay) and one (1) mid stay service (minimum 10 nights) are included. Guest of owner reservations may not include cleaning. Additional maid service is available at cost. Your unit will be prepared for your arrival including linens, two sets of towels per person, starter kitchen and bathroom amenities, i.e.: dish washing liquid, dishwasher soap, paper towels, soap and toilet paper are provided but not replenished. **Beach towels are not provided**
Maintenance: All of our units are individually owned and decorated. Please do not remove linen, dishes or other items from the unit, as they belong to the owner. Additional charges will be incurred for damages, lost items, or excessive checkout cleaning caused by guests during their stay. Repair Issues may arise: There is a labor shortage on the Island and materials may need to be shipped in, there may be some delays in completing repairs. Refunds or credits are not provided for maintenance, cleaning or pest issues as long as we are making our best efforts to complete or correct them.
Check-in: You will receive an email with mobile app instructions that will provide all your arrival and check -in information one week before your arrival. Check-in time is 3 P.M.; Checkout time is 11 A.M. A late checkout “must be prearranged” and is subject to a 1/2-day charge. Any unapproved late checkouts past the 11 am checkout will result in a full day charge.

Registration: No Subleasing – the party signing this agreement must register with the Front Desk or Office during business hours and be the responsible occupant for the entire term of the agreement. Most properties charge “registration, key service, or parking fees.” Such fees are set by the individual properties and not Whalers Investment Group, LLC., LLC.. You are subject to and liable for these charges, in most cases they are not included in your rate and may change with or without notice. PUAMANA guests only: You must register at the clubhouse to pick up your parking pass and pedestrian gate code. The Puamana Registration Fee is collected at time of final payment and forwarded to the Association prior to your arrival: $10/day + tax ($160 + tax maximum). The second car is $10/day + tax ($160 + tax maximum) collected at the clubhouse. Two car maximum. Accidental Damage Protection: This Security Deposit Protection plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 will be charged to the credit card on file. Certain terms and conditions apply.
