The Whaler Resort has just completed it’s re-modeling project that included re-tiling the lanais of each floor,along with new planter boxes, new roof, and painting the exterior of the two towers.This project came on the heels of having just completed a major overall remodeling of the property including, but not limited to landscaping, oceanfront pool upgrades, new hallway flooring, and wall covering on each floor and much more. All of these projects have positioned our property once again as one of the most prestigous world class resorts in West Maui. Our unit simultaneously underwent a full remodel to match the 5 star standards in keeping with the resort.
Our beautiful island home is located in Tower II and sits just one unit back from the OCEANFRONT spot. We chose this specific location because of it’s spectacular oceanfront and beachfront views from within the unit. We enjoy being able to sit in our living room or right from our bed and having an unobstructed view of miles of ocean. Our condo offers an exceptional view of Kaanapali Beach with it’s wide stretch of soft white sand all the way to the most well known snorkel and scuba diving site on Maui called Black Rock. As you can see from the photos there is no compromise on our views no matter which room you’re in. We’ve added mirrored walls in both the living room and master bedroom so you get a sense of a panoramic oceanview within the condo itself! You’ll wake up in the morning and right from your bed you’ll begin your day witnessing the most magnificent ocean surf, tropical palms swaying in a gentle breeze and the spectacular blue water that just beckons you to jump in! If your blessed with a brief tropical shower then expect a beautiful rainbow to appear just to add another touch of magic to your day!
Start your morning with a leisurely breakfast on your lanai, and watch as the surfers and parasailers master the waves.Or,if you happen to be one of the lucky ones here visiting during whale season, just sit back and marvel at the the magnificent show of the humpback whales as they glide gracefully through the water.It’s only a short stroll next door to the Whalers Village the largest outdoor shopping center on Maui. You’ll find a myriad of fine restaurants or casual family dining, convenience stores, boutique shopping, first class art galleries,live entertainment and so much more. And if you’re inclined to take advantage of the many water adventures most start directly from Kaanapali Beach ~ now how convenient is that!
Our choices of furnishings were designed for comfort and convenience condusive to the tropical climate without compromising on the everyday amenities that we’ve all come to enjoy at home. We’ve stocked our kitchen with a few ‘extra’ cooking essentials like a rice cooker, coffee grinder, and extra baking tools for those inclined. We thoroughly enjoy the luxury of cooking in our open kitchen and still being able to see the ocean.
Our master bedroom features a extremely comfortable king bed, all new downlike pillows with extras for added convenience. Flat screens in both living room and bedroom and attention to detail with added features like ipod and iphone docs. We’ve listened carefully to what our guests like and their preferences on amenities and believe we have hit the mark!
Our on island management company is available to assist you with any of your island activities, car rental needs or perhaps arranging for advance grocery delivery service for your arrival. Feel free to call them anytime for assistance throughout your stay.

Guest Terms and Conditions
Payment Requirements All reservations require a credit card advance payment of twenty-five (25%) percent of the total due to confirm the reservation; the deposit is charged 48 hours after booking. Full payment is required sixty (60) days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 60 days of arrival require payment in full. All reservations are charged OhanaCare, which includes a check-out cleaning fee, Reservation Services and Processing Fees, and damage protection.
Cancellation Reservations may be cancelled for any reason until the final balance due date. Reservations cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival will receive a 100% refund less a non-refundable $150 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled 45-59 days prior to arrival will receive a 75% refund less the $150 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled 30-44 days prior to arrival will receive a $25 refund less the $150 cancellation. There is no refund within 30 days of arrival.
No refunds are made for unused nights regardless of cause, or for late arrival, early departure, or for reserved and paid for but unused services. Cancellations after the final balance due date are non-refundable unless dates are re-rented (less the non-refundable $150 cancellation fee). Maui Beachfront Rentals will make every effort to re-rent the property. Reservation monies will only be refunded up to the amount collected by re-renting, less the $150 cancellation fee.
Taxes and Registration Fees All rent is subject to the State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) of 10.25% and General Excise Tax (GET) of 4.167%. Accommodations in Kauai are subject to General Excise Tax (GET) of 4.712%.Taxes are subject to change prior to arrival.
Some resorts have additional fees (including daily resort fees, guest service fees, facility usage fees, or parking fees) that are collected directly from the guest at check-in or check-out. Maui Beachfront Rentals makes every effort to maintain accurate notice of those fees on our website, but is not responsible for any increase in those fees that may occur between the time of booking the reservation and the date of arrival.
Rates All properties are individually owned. Rates, maximum occupancy, and minimum-stay requirements may vary. Rates may vary based on condo location, condo size, occupancy, and season.
Property Damage Protection Vacation Rental Damage Protection (VRDP) covers accidental damages up to $3,000 that occur during the stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out.
Damages beyond $3,000 – or intentional damages – are the responsibility of the guest. Should the owner have to sue for damages, the guest will be responsible for all court costs, damages, and attorney fees that will be charged to the credit card on file.
If guest declines to include the Vacation Rental Damage Protection (one-time fee per reservation up to $55), guest must provide a Security Deposit of $3,000 USD, by check or eCheck withdrawal only, no later than 30 days prior to arrival. Security Deposits may not be paid by credit card. Maui Beachfront Rentals will deposit Security Deposit checks in our client trust account upon receipt; refunds – less any damages or missing items – will be made 10-14 business days following departure.
If Security Deposit payment is not received by 30 days prior to arrival, guest will be charged the Vacation Rental Damage Protection instead.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance that we offer through CSA Generali, at a cost of 6.95% of the rent and taxes portion of your reservation costs. Travel insurance must be purchased on or before final balance due date.
Maximum Occupancy Each property has a maximum occupancy limit (including children), regardless of the number of beds or rooms in the unit. Generally, limits are Studios – 2 people, 1-bedroom units – 2-4 people, 2-bedroom units – 4-6 people, and 3-bedroom units – 5-8 people. However, additional limits may apply depending on the resort or particular property’s owner discretion. Occupancy is restricted to the pre-approved number of guests, regardless of age. Extra occupants may serve as just cause for eviction or termination of the reservation.
Housekeeping Services Housekeeping fees include departure clean only, unless the unit rented requires a mid-stay clean. Linens and bath towels are included, and are not to be taken from the unit. Linens include one set of sheets per bed – all beds will be made with the exception of sleeper sofas. If equipped with a sleeper sofa, sheets will be available in the unit. Kitchen linens include 2 dish towels. Dish cloths or kitchen brush or sponge will be provided.
An initial starter supply is provided for trash liners, bathroom paper goods, paper towels, and basic dishwashing and hand soaps. Extra items needed are guest responsibility. Any other amenities may be provided at owner discretion, but are not replenished.
Additional housekeeping services are available in some units at additional cost, and must be requested at least 3 days in advance of desired service. Additional services will be confirmed upon payment and clearance with the housekeeping vendor.
Smoking All of our rental accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking is strictly prohibited in units or on any of the unit lanais. The cost to return a unit to a non-smoking status is significant and can exceed $1,000. Guest will incur charges for any required carpet and upholstery cleaning, and further deodorizing needed if any evidence of smoking is found in unit. Any cost to return a unit to non-smoking status will be charged to the credit card on file.
Check-In / Check-Out Check-In is 4:00pm; check-out is 10:00am. Complete check-in instructions will be provided following payment in full.
Guests still in the unit after check-out time will be assessed one night’s rent. Any request for early check-in or late check-out must be received and confirmed at least 3 days in advance. If available, early check-in is the lesser amount of a half-day rate or a $75 fee. Late check-out is a half-day rate until 2:00pm, and a full-day rate after 2:00pm. Late check-out after 2:00pm will also incur any fees charged by the resort for an additional day.
At check-out, guests must:
– Take out their trash, and rinse or wash all kitchen items used. Do not leave any appliances running – including dishwashers or washing machines or dryers
– Turn off lights and air conditioning, if applicable, before departing
Each unit is inspected prior to arrival and again following guest departure. Should your unit require excessive cleaning, additional charges will apply and cannot be covered by Vacation Rental Damage Protection. The most common causes for excessive cleaning charges include, but are not limited to:
– Sand in drains, on floors, in washers and dryers
– Excessive trash or food/dirty dishes in u nit
– Furnishings that have been moved or disassembled
Lost & Found Maui Beachfront Rentals is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. All lost & found items that are recovered will be returned to the guest for the cost of shipping plus a $25 handling fee.
House Rules Guests are subject to a property’s house rules, which are available in the in-room directory or through the front desk or homeowner’s association office on property.
Falsified Reservation Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment. This includes understating occupancy (including children) or other violations of House Rules that can result in eviction without refund.
Interruption of Services / Disturbances Maui Beachfront Rentals will make every effort to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Unexpected failure of any equipment will not constitute a guest refund. Provided that we are notified of any equipment defects, malfunctions, or damages, Maui Beachfront Rentals will make every effort to remedy the breakdown as soon as possible to minimize guest inconvenience.
No compensation will be given for temporary outage of pool, electricity, elevator, water, cable or WiFi service. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as quickly as possible. The operation and maintenance of utilities is out of the control of Maui Beachfront Rentals.
Guest understands the condo is a privately owned dwelling with Owner’s furnishings, and neither Maui Beachfront Rentals nor the Owner shall be responsible for providing any additional furnishings or equipment.
Should maintenance issues arise, guests are required to allow reasonable access to the property to provide remedy, and to make necessary inspections and repairs.
NOTE: Resorts and Homeowner’s Associations rarely give construction notices any more. Maui Beachfront Rentals makes every effort to get information about potential construction, but makes no guarantee that properties adjacent to the unit and/or resort will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this agreement or give guest any right to refund or rental adjustment.
Guest also understands that Hawaii is in a tropical climate and, as such, insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. Each property has quarterly pest control services which treat for pests found in tropical climates. Maintaining a food-free sink, garbage disposal, countertops, floors, and trash will help to minimize the proliferation of tropical pests. Although Maui Beachfront Rentals will use its best efforts to control pests, they do not constitute a breach of this agreement or give guest any right to refund or rental adjustment.
Guest understands that there are no refunds due to inclement weather including hurricanes or flooding. Maui Beachfront Rentals shall not be liable for events that interfere with your scheduled occupancy. Travel insurance is available and strongly recommended.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY Reservations are subject to availability. Because Maui Beachfront Rentals acts as a rental agent for individual homeowners, rental accommodations cannot be completely controlled. While problems very rarely occur, a situation could arise whereby the accommodations specified on your confirmation become unavailable – due to strikes, acts of God, failure of guests to vacate as scheduled, and/or sale of properties. Maui Beachfront Rentals reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations up to and including the day of arrival. If Maui Beachfront Rentals has no acceptable alternate accommodations within their own inventory, guests will be provided with a full refund, which constitutes the full extent of liability assumed by Maui Beachfront Rentals.
While Maui Beachfront Rentals will make every attempt to remedy situations brought to our attention, we may not be able to foresee or resolve every scenario. In the unfortunate event such a situation occurs and Maui Beachfront Rentals agrees in writing that the guest may secure alternate accommodations on their own, Maui Beachfront Rentals will refund unused nights and services, less any costs incurred by Maui Beachfront Rentals, which constitutes the full extent of liability assumed by Maui Beachfront Rentals
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions This policy legally binds guest to the terms set forth above. This rental is conditioned expressly upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions and notice requirements set forth above.
